AIM Software launch UK & Ireland Business
Martin Buchberger, CEO of AIM Software.
London – AIM Software, the leading European provider of Reference Data Management applications targeted at the financial community managing and servicing assets, today announced the appointment of Michael Walford-Grant as Country Manager, UK / Ireland and the opening of an office in London.
The decision to establish the office is part of the company’s plans for growth, following on from the acquisition earlier in the year of ABI Informatic. Michael has a wealth of experience in data management and financial services. Commenting on the appointment, he said: “The opportunity for AIM Software in this market is very exciting. I was particularly impressed by the wealth of experience they have acquired implementing a range of data management projects in Central Europe into large complex organisations spanning the full Asset Management community.”
Josef Sommeregger, VP, Sales and Business Development went on to explain: “The company has invested a great deal in developing a modern flexible platform and a suite of Packaged Applications for the Asset Management and Services community. These have improved implementation timescales and driven down Total Cost of Ownership for our clients. Opening an office in London will enable us to both target new opportunities in the UK and Ireland, and improve the level of service we provide our existing clients and partners.”
«This appointment is designed to further consolidate AIM Software’s growing reputation and status as the leader supplier of reference data management business applications to the Asset Management community of Investment Managers, Fund Administrators, Custodians, Private Banks and Wealth Management companies,» stated Martin Buchberger, CEO of AIM Software.
